The Generation Management system can be used to define Generation templates of all shapes and sizes.  The default Selenium template does not use any test management framework, however a TestNG template can be added easily.  I won't go into the specific of how TestNG works or how the code is put together. Instead, have a look at the generation templates already provided.  They will give you a glimpse into the token replacement capabilities and generation constructs needed.  You can apply that same technology to any testing framework or programming language.
